February 27th - Supervisor Roger Dickinson's North Highlands Community Breakfast Meeting

This meeting held the 4th Wednesday of each month to discuss items of interest to members of the 4th District. There is usually a guest speaker and attendees generally purchase their own breakfast (cost ranges from about $6.00 - $8.00 depending on your choice from the menu).

February 27th - North Highlands/Foothill Farms CPAC (Community Planning Advisory Council)

Place - North Highlands Community Center, 6040 Watt Avenue (at Freedom Park Drive).

The CPAC reviews community planning projects and approves, modifies projects with community input, and then sends along to Sacramento County with recommendations for action.

March 6th - Lunch Bunch

Community Members from both Chamber areas are invited... the Antelope-Highlands Chamber and the Rio Linda/Elverta Chamber. This includes interested residents, businesses and organizations from Antelope, Elverta, Foothill Farms, McClellan Park, North Highlands and Rio Linda. There is generally a speaker and introductions around the room of all attendees. This is a great place to network your business, organization and get updated on the latest of interest in the community.

The Garden Club is over 50 years old and meets one a month on the 3rd Wednesdays. Uusally there is a guest speaker. Group also sponsors outings and other fun activities related to flower & vegetable gardening.
